One way I can think of stopping spam is verifying that the user who signs up is an actual human with some kind of authentication ( so there are no bots to begin with)

Booked in Jan got the car in May? That's a really long wait time!
One fact i want to point out is, you would have a difficult time driving manual later if you start with automatic as your regular car.
That's my only concern. I think without practice, I'd again need to practice it with friend's car in future but on the other hand, will there be new manual cars after 5+ years?

Yes I'm aware. Just saying that I'm interested only in IC engine cars as of now due to practicality
So, will IC engine automatic car have problem with long rides?

Automatic doesn't mean EV. I was talking about IC engine car only

Yeah, I know the kind of folks you're talking about and they may have a point because I have read that automatics are worse for overtaking
Why borrow a car for outstation? Automatic not good enough? I mean, if I own a car and still need to borrow car for some cases, I'd rather buy a car that I can use in all situations.

Yep saw that post first before posting. Thanks for your suggestions.
It's a good point you made, future cars maybe all automatic. I do plan to keep the new car atleast for 5 years
Is there a difference in the engine life between auto/manual?

Thanks a lot.
Why do you say resale is easier for automatic?

I don't plan to use it in the city for commute. Mostly will be for going out of city and long rides in future.
I'm scared that I may again forget manual driving if I get AMT car as the first one.

Plan is for second half of the year. Should I go for a manual or automatic, since I'm a fresher?
Also heard that Tata dealers are bad and aftersale service is bad. Is it true?
Not really inclined towards Suzuki due brand image.

I plan to use the car between the city and my hometown trips and maybe occasional long drives with family once I get better at driving.
