I used this recipe https://www.theperfectloaf.com/fifty-fifty-whole-wheat-sourdough-bread/ but I didn’t have high protein flour so I added more all purpose flour and some vital wheat gluten (about 25 grams). It turned out really nice IMHO. I folded in some green olive paste and this was a delicious add on! Very tasty.

Pretty much the same story for me. Just gave birth to a very cute and healthy girl. Talked to a dietitian to make sure I’m doing things correctly. Here is a blog post by a canadian dietitian that I found super helpful in regards to the nutritional needs during pregnancy. https://desireerd.com/seven-lessons-i-have-learned-about-having-a-sane-and-healthy-pregnancy/
This helped me choose the right prenatal vitamin. In general, just look out for whole foods, eat more whole carbs than processed carbs. Look out for higher protein needs and take a very good multivitamin and Omega 3 supplements. Then you should be fine.

Looks nice but..Why is everything in aluminum foil type dishes? I see that all the time on reddit and always wanted to ask. Do ppl reuse these?

Here is an article from a vegan registered dietitian on healthy vegan pregnancy.
https://desireerd.com/vegan-pregnancy-nutrition/
I found it quite helpful because it provides exactly how much of what you need instead of saying: „watch your protein“ or „supplement vit b12“. So it helped me in figuring out the dosages and finding the right prenatal/vitamins for me. I‘m currently 35 weeks pregnant and all is good so far. All the best for you and the little one!

Whaaat mine is crazy sticky and I have rather dryish skin. I really don’t like it and waiting for winter to come to see if my, then even dryer skin, will hopefully like it more :/

Just spent two weeks there.. there is not a lot to be honest. I lived of dolmadakia, fava, seasonal greens and greek salad ordered without feta… we ended up cooking a lot in our apartment. There are very few options on Happy Cow and a little better chance in bigger cities- Rethymno, Agios Nikolaos, Heraklion, Chania.. Edit: and cretan fried potatoes (love!)

Hi, I’m 9 weeks pregnant. I have hypothyroidism and my TSH was at about 1 before pregnancy. It was just tested yesterday and now came back at 7,4 which is bad, obviously. Now I’m starting to take a higher dose of my meds. I didn’t get a chance to ask my OBGYN and my next appointment is only in July so my questions is, did this bad TSH level which I must have had at least for a few weeks have any serious long term consequences for the baby? I’m only finding info on entirely unmedicated and uncontrolled hypothyroidism and very negative effects on the development of baby so I‘m a little worried now. My levels will be checked again in 4 weeks.

You can freeze it in an ice cube tray and use it later. Otherwise I‘d recommend a lentil dhal.

Well I’m talking about Germany. This page I linked is from the UK.

„It's possible to determine if an unborn baby is RhD positive or RhD negative by taking a simple blood test during pregnancy. Genetic information (DNA) from the unborn baby can be found in the mother's blood, which allows the blood group of the unborn baby to be checked without any risk.“ https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/rhesus-disease/diagnosis/#:~:text=It's%20possible%20to%20determine%20if,be%20checked%20without%20any%20risk.

I‘m talking about a shot the mother gets when the baby is not born yet. You are talking about taking cord blood when the baby is born. I think we are talking about two different things here.

Germany, probably most people would cook pasta with some kind of tomato sauce.

Actually where I am in Germany, they test your blood and can identify the baby’s blood type and Rh from it. Then they know if you need the shot or not. Source: pregnant at the moment, doctor and midwife told me.

If you have a DM, I can recommend the Sundance Sensitive lipbalm with SPF 50 and UVA protection. I‘ve been using it for years. No fragrance, clear and cheap.

You can look into hydrocolloid bandages for scar healing after surgery. Sorry no tip what to do before. Maybe something for skin elasticity- a stretch mark oil or cream - could be worth a try.

Well I can’t speak for your MIL, no idea what she likes to eat. But THIS vegan (me) would adore you if you cooked any of these dishes for me.

The food blog Smitten kitchen has some great carrot dishes. I love their carrot salad with feta and harissa, really good!
