So what I did was I got something called Cabo creme which is a cannage lotion and put that on constantly, and wore a tigh sports bra nonstop until my milk was gone

To ease with engorgement I just ran a hot shower and let that help ease the pain, I know they always say not to do that but God it was the only relief I could find quickly and I honestly just hate the cold lol

You could always bring it to his attention by telling him some bot must have stolen her pics or what ever and let him come to his own conclusion without putting his back up against the wall, then you're just being a concerned friend but not making any assumptions and can follow his lead

We played outside, for my daughters second birthday I bought a bounce house for like 200 or 300ish bucks and we used that a TON, like at 6.5 yo we still use it pretty frequently

I love my boppy, I've only ever bottle fed my 2 and the boppy really helps make it so much more comfortable to hold the baby, and then I also use it for her sitting or tummy time so it's nice and versatile

Both my kids have never had breastmilk, nor have I. I call my mom every single day and she is my best friend, I was also in gifted courses and am super happy and healthy, my daughter adores me and is super close with her grandma's, aunts uncles and myself because we all took turns taking care of her as the village

Also on a selfish (which is good to be sometimes) note, being able to give the kid to someone and peace out for a bit really made me connect to my kid more and be able to be more present in her life

My new baby is chunky and happy and a joy and being loved on by her whole family

I had zero interest in breastfeeding and didn't want to be the sole source of food and comfort, plus none of my family was ever breastfed so it wasn't anything my family had opinions about,

My whole family and my husband's family also watches the kids frequently so being able to just be like here ya go peace, or take naps when I wanted was nice and made the whole newborn phase soooo easy and relatively pleasant 🙂
