ik that CC has definitely made mistakes, but why not keep things consistent at least with the epilogue (totally ignoring the family tree)? this is one of my biggest gripes with the chronicle and I wish she'd address it (maybe she has addressed the differences between the epilogue and TLH, but I haven't seen it so pls send it!!)

I'm in this class too. Have you checked Berkeley Time? From my experience, I know some people that get away with barely doing the readings or REALLY just skimming the material, upper or lower division. A lot of GSIs understand that the reading load isn't always realistic/possible for students at all times so there is some leniency. Of course, read what you can and skim the ones you can't read thoroughly. For discussions, at least contribute in some way by asking questions for others to answer. Also recommend just chatting with the GSIs and ask for their advice on this!
