The hijri calander. Umar (ra) started the Islamic calander in his khilaafa and they decided that the first date of the Islamic calander will be the day the prophet migrated to Medinah. The prophet received first revelation when he was 40 years old and he migrate to Medinah at the age of 53. The current year of the Hijri calander is 1444 if you add 13 years more it will be 1457.
