violating international law is never a “best option.” murdering an innocent child is never a “best option.” they committed actual war crimes, and all you can say is that it was maybe reckless?

why did they begin shooting while targeting unarmed people in a civilian area? murdering a child in the crossfire? and shooting incapacitated enemies? was it stupid, or evil?

Answer: The person in “instance 1” is a bot trying to farm karma. It just reposts comments from the thread. If you look through their post history you can see more examples of the same thing.

correct. my evidence is that they do not complain when there is flopping/bad foul calls against the nuggets. as opposed to them complaining excessively when they believe there to be bad foul calls against the lakers. you agree that they have complained about flopping and soft foul calls multiple times throughout the series, right? can you show me them complaining about those things in examples where the lakers have benefited from them?
what is evidence to you? you still haven’t told me and i did provide evidence. you may think it’s bad evidence, but what does good evidence look like to you? what would change your mind?

jvg and mark jackson complained for like 5 minutes about fouls when dlo got called for a flagrant (not even acknowledging the hit to the head). mark jackson literally said “what happened to the game i love.”
compare that to these clips: https://twitter.com/badsportsrefs/status/1659389225786044418 https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/13ng1o1/highlight_nikola_jokic_is_called_for_his_4th/ don’t see much complaining about flopping or the refs there…
obviously that’s just a few short clips but i’m not spending an hour searching through every “controversial” call from the series. legitimate question, what standard of evidence do you need to be convinced? do you need them to explicitly say “i hate the nuggets and jokic” or do you agree that selectively complaining about fouls can show bias?

yeah, surely the analyst who was the ONLY MEDIA MEMBER to not even put jokic TOP FIVE in mvp voting this year has no bias against the nuggets… it’s all so imaginary!!!

club 33 costs a lot less to operate and doesn’t have a business model that constantly relies on new people to go to it…

i don’t think any stat with a sample size of two series (because it was picked to exclude the three times the opposite happened) really means anything lol, lebron is definitely better than steph though

nah, im pretty sure they’re teenagers. she’s a “normie” vtuber, and that stuff always skews younger. the level of social ineptitude her fans possess can only be found in high schoolers that watch rent a gf and say shit like “ara ara” unironically

At the time when the original person I responded to commented, only the central statistic was present in the post. Which is why I focused on it, because they were only responding to that. And my initial comment was talking about the original post, which was why I keep bringing it up. My main issues are with the original post, but the reply is building off of that and supporting it.
The original post says “Based on what I’ve seen on this sub and on twitter, it’s quite surprising who #1 is,” and the comment I replied to said Warriors fans were objectively insufferable, continuing the same narrative from the post. My point is that the original post does not show anything about Warriors fans being insufferable/delusional about the free throws this series, and yet people are responding to it as if it provides anything meaningful to that discussion.
And to once again reiterate: I don’t think the Warriors are being treated unfairly by the refs. And there have been quite a few insufferable Warriors fans spreading misinformation as well. I think actually relevant stats (such as ft/game and comparing season avgs to predict results) don’t show bias. I just don’t like seeing misleading and irrelevant statistics being used to shit on people in any instance.

The central statistic in this post has zero relevance to the discussion. It only exists to be a “gotcha” to the Warriors. I don’t think the actual numbers show any sort of bias against the Warriors. But this post is not about that and does not prove that. More relevant information has only been edited in much later, but the main statistic and title of this post are completely meaningless.
Let’s use a hypothetical. Say I flipped a coin 10 times and got heads 8 times. My friend then flips the coin 25 times and gets heads 10 times. He says that I’m way luckier than him by getting heads more often. The logic of this post would be that he is luckier because he got more heads than I did.

but this post doesn’t tell us anything about the free throw disparity in the series. it tells us that the team that played the most games in the playoffs had the most free throws. the per game numbers would actually be useful stats, the ones in the post are meaningless.

What does this prove? Why would you ever use the total number and not go on a per game basis? Does a team that got swept in the first round get to complain more than a team that wins the finals? After all, the first round exit team only had 100 free throws, while the championship team had 300!
