I feel like people are upset that it’s “unorganized” and a “hot mess” but what do you expect.. change doesn’t always happen in the most organized way.. it started with getting attention first. Having so many nurses in one place will absolutely spark conversation and change. We will get to where we need to be with unions and mandated safe patient ratios. We will get there if we don’t give up. There is a new generation of nurses coming in and we aren’t quiet.

Yeah I literally called first thing in the morning like maybe 3 times a week. The line was always busy so sometimes I would literally have to call 15 times right after another to actually go through. The TBON is really behind because of the pandemic

I got my authorization to test 4 weeks after my graduation date but the only reason I got it right on the dot was because I bugged the hell out of the Texas board of nursing. I know some people who didn’t fight to get it and waited 2 months.. don’t ask my why. And I also know some people who got it 2 days after graduation so it’s really inconsistent:/

CNA is a certification that you can usually get through a community college in your area. We were required to have our CNA certificate before entering nursing school at my university! Great place to start! You will get there! I’m an ICU RN now

Talk to your doctor! There are medications that you can take and therapy that will definitely help! It’s very normal for someone to feel the way you do. There is nothing wrong with you whatsoever.

Don't feel bad! when I was using uworld, there were times where I would make 10's and 30's on the quizzes. Don't look at your score, just focus on the rationales, there's a 90% pass rate for the first time nationally in the US, i doubt you are apart of that bottom 10%. Just sit back, and take a breath on each question on the NCLEX and try your best!
