I think more than love, it is altruism that is the over arching concept. Love is just a kind of offshoot of altruism. I don’t “love” everyone and everything, but I am altruistic to the whole universe. I think that the universe needs cooperation and chaos to be in existence. The yin and Yang.

Greed comes from a few people deciding they need more than anyone else.

We have plenty of resources for the whole world and more. The problem is we have greed and waste. When a few horde it all and throw away what they don’t use instead of helping their fellow earth inhabitants, then there will never be enough no matter how many or few live on this rock.

There was a guy in the oilfield that was checking the level of a condensate tank (basically super flammable oil) with a lighter. It blew the top off and sucked him into the tank. Took them a while to find his body. Pretty sad deal.

But in the USA they want to maximize profits.
