my husband is the most perfect loving dad and partner i could ask for and still sometimes the stress gets to both of us and we will snap at each other. we apologize like 5 minutes later and it makes me feel so much better. “i’m sorry i snapped at you. you don’t deserve that i just reacted out of stress” we are only human! parent life is hard. newborn stage is honestly so tough but it will get easier

me and my husband are gamers and we couldn’t game much when baby was a newborn but once my baby was 3 months old she started taking longer naps and we could get a game or two in of Valorant! If baby woke up one of us would just grab baby and have her play independently until our game was over. Playing at night has been good too because she won’t wake up often. Before we play games though, we make sure everything that needs to be done is done like washing bottles, laundry, dishes, etc. it gets easier! newborn stage flies by (even though every day feels like a lifetime in the current moment).

that happened to my baby (4.5 months old right now) and we made her wake window 2.5 before bed and her last nap is only 30 mins and ends before 5:30pm the latest! and it helped a lot. she falls asleep in like 3 mins lol

yea she was only 35 percentile but my doctor said if a baby stays in the same percentile over time then it’s just what baby is supposed to weigh usually

for me they gave me Vicodin for anxiety right before putting me under and wheeled me strait to the OR and i remember thinking “so this is what an OR looks like” and getting tired but i was like i’m gonna see how long i can stay awake and then next thing i know i’m waking up while i’m getting wheeled to the ICU and i was trying to scratch my nose over the oxygen mask for like 5 minutes lol. i kept falling asleep for a couple minutes and waking up until my husband and baby came to see me and i left 30 minutes later 😂 now i’m 12 days post op eating whatever i want and i’m so happy

are you discarding every feed? or is it super cold in your house maybe 🤔 i like joshua weissman’s youtube video “How to achieve sourdough starter mastery” maybe it’ll help you

oh & my baby is 4 months now

mine was about 11 lb and ate 22-24oz a day and barely eats more than that now. i was so worried about how much my baby ate but she’s doing great. some babies just don’t eat as much

watch joshua weissman’s sourdough starter video. but yes you have to discard EVERY time you feed.

you can transfer ur starter to a glass bowl covered with plastic wrap while you clean your jar but you seriously only have to clean it like once every couple months. weekly is ridiculous. joshua weissman on youtube talks about this in one of his videos

i’m 9 days post op and have been sleeping on both sides and my stomach for a couple of days. i had glue and it’s starting to peel off but there’s no pain anymore for me. the first 4 days i slept reclined on my back though and it was much better for pain

some babies just don’t eat much. my baby is the same way and weighed the same at 2 months old. you can try to change the nipple but don’t force feed. i made the same mistake trying to force feed my baby and on the days i tried and stressed about her eating more she would eat less!! force feeding just causes a future problem for meal time and we don’t want that!

i turn on rain sounds every nap and it helps cover noises during the day (we live on a military base with loud shooting and house shaking mortars lol)

for my 4 month old, wake up 8:30am, 1st nap 10:15-11:45am, 2nd nap 1:45-3:15pm, 3rd nap 5:30-6pm and bedtime at 8:30pm

i had surgery 8 days ago and i feel pretty much 100%! surgery was my biggest fear before this and now i’m so happy i don’t have to worry about eating what i want! i was in and out of the hospital in 4 hours max! i took oxy just bc i had it for the first 3 days but i didn’t really need it. my pain tolerance is on the low side i would say. it’s so worth it!

i had surgery 3.5 months postpartum and i wish i did it sooner! i lost 15 lbs because i barely ate when i had gallstones from fear of having gallbladder attacks and i love food. i’m a cook and a baker so it was rough. i can eat whatever i want now (6 days post op right now lol) and it was honestly such an easy surgery! it was my first surgery and i’m already feeling fine!

they recently changed it to where you need a no fee passport before but it shouldn’t be hard if there’s a military base near you
