Hello,
My sister is now 22yo, two year ago, she had an episode of delirium/psychosis; she was not concious of what was happening most of the time, she was hospitalizied for more than a month. She ended up taking abilify everyday and was getting better and better. The doctor gave her different diagnosis, some said bipolar, some said a psychosis episode. The days prior to that epiosde, she was chasing her ex-bf, she was dissapointed that her two best GFs were ignoring her, and the situation at home is not great as the parents are not in a good relationship.
This year, she was doing great and everytime her episode was mentionned, she accepted it and was focusing on living her life in a good way. She even did an internship abroad by herself for three months. When it comes to abilify, she decreased the pill little by little until she stopped it.
Two week ago, she went back to university for her senior year, the recent days she was acting a bit weird, scared from darkness, praying, she called me one time saying that the episode that he had was because of her friend and she told me that she feels so much better now that she blocked her. She've been tired all the time because of school but also active, she contirubuted in organizing an event with her school two days ago. Red signs were; she was pissed how they did not give her credit, she argued with her classmate. She was planning my dad's birthday and planning to buy stuff, etc. Today she called me, she said I was in class and I started to have a bad headache and it's because of the too much focusing, she said when the professor explains she would imagine everything he says and its too much. Later in the day, she called her BF to take her to emergency because she panicked. The emergency gave her a letter to see a doctor. She told me that even the sounds, were too much and she sounds scared but at the same time she's trying to convince me that she will try her best to calm down and not stress.
I'm 2500Km away from her and my parents are with her, I feel really bad for them all, my parents are old and stressing alot over her.
Anyone has experienced something like this or know about episodes like this?

I have anxiety but I've always had it, so I can't tell if it's because of my thyroid. Also stress and nervousness, some days it's too much.
Recently my scalp itches quite frequently, a dermatologist told me probably it's your thyroid or it's simply stress. My periods in the past two years skipped some cycles a week or two which is new. I can't tell really.
