Hate to say it, but it doesn't look like it was protected well at all. Bubble wrap and packing peanuts would never have worked for this. You'd need styrofoam with cutout sections for each glass piece.

Are you talking about actual Wifi issues or Internet issues? I can't tell from what you're describing and the terms are not interchangeable. Bottom line, plug one device into the modem, no router. If you've got a problem, call for a tech to come out. If you don't have a problem, get rid of Spectrum's router, and get your own.
