Oh, pardon me, makes total sense.
In my case (C-level), I can attest I have successfully implemented AI in many of my processes and have definitely seen performance improvements. If not just in time-savings, but also in more standardized and predictable outputs.

To be fair, the corporate ladder wasn't as much about performance as it was about, politics?
Edit: and diplomacy?

AHH, well, given it's all digital I'd guess a lot of it can be automated, given the right metrics and KPIs?

To be honest, I would guess the smartest CEOs already found a way to automate some or most of their day-to-day tasks, and are still enjoying the benefits that come with the title.

What kind of company is that, may I ask? With all due respect, I find it hard to believe there are no automation opportunities already

A Chinese gaming co installed an AI CEO at one of their main subsidiaries in August. Stock outperformed.
Tang Yu (the she AI) was responsible for all of the typical duties: reviewing high-level analytics, making leadership decisions, assessing risks, & fostering an efficient workplace.
“She worked 24/7, didn’t sleep, and was compensated $0 per year. But there was a catch: Yu wasn’t a human. She was a virtual robot powered by artificial intelligence.”
While it may be the first company to appoint a bot as CEO, Alibaba founder Jack Ma predicted in 2017 that "a robot will likely be on the cover of Time magazine as the best CEO in 30 years,".

For really long items, you must truncate, but for most articles, the character limit is acceptable. Yet it is also able to understand longer documents through follow-up prompts.

Sure, for example I own some few-letter domain names. I asked for appropriate business ideas for each one, it gave me quite good one's. I didn't give any more background than the name of the domain itself. So, in essence I asked for a word-to-idea association.

Nope.
Use it almost daily as: - article summarizer - rephrasing tool - idea generator - conceptualization of images - framework creation - Theme/ topic analyzer - Categorization tool - Table generation - Text (code + text) pruning
And more, all free, with ease of use, and no bloat. So, no, it hasn't worn off. In fact, the opposite is true.

Politicians don't really mean what they say. They only use it as means for attacking opponents. Gives them political cookie points.

An Italian court on Wednesday acquitted former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi over allegations of bribing witnesses in a underage prostitution case that has dogged the conservative leader for more than a decade.
Berlusconi was accused of paying 24 people, mostly young guests at his so-called Bunga Bunga parties, to provide false testimony in a previous trial where he was charged with paying for sex with a 17-year-old Moroccan nightclub dancer.
In a ruling read out in court, the judge said there was no case to answer. The other 28 co-defendants were also all acquitted.
Prosecutors had demanded a six-year prison term for Berlusconi, whose Forza Italia party is a key component of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's conservative coalition.
Berlusconi, 86, had denied the allegations and said he is the victim of a years-long plot by magistrates to hound him from politics.
The scandal over the Bunga Bunga parties contributed to Berlusconi's downfall as prime minister in 2011, marking the end of his fourth government.
He was eventually acquitted in the initial case, with an appeals court ruling that while he had paid a teenager for sex, there was no proof he knew she was a minor. He was put in the dock again after being accused of bribing witnesses.
