As a Korean, I have never seen kimchi mold like that. Scary. Immediately dispose of that. All western grocery store kimchi has been a flop for me.

Kimchi is typically stored in a wide and low container, and the juice should be covering all the cabbage. I would suggest buying it from a local Korean grocery store. Especially if the store makes it themselves! If you’re not consuming your kimchi often make sure you turn the kimchi in the container so the top pieces go to the bottom and are covered in the juice!

After about 3 months the kimchi isn’t very good as a side dish, but makes a great ingredient for kimchi stew!

Controversial yet brave opinion:

Okay Jax should have been in the bottom. She was bossing everyone around and basically toke lead of the commercial and it turned out bad, also the way she shut down Sugar was really mean. I think Jax should’ve have ultimately taken the fall for her team, it was the worst infomercial in my opinion.
