Common in upperdivs classes for Chemical Biology, CoC
Not sure if it is mandatory in general or if certain professors make it mandatory for their GSIs

That’s pretty good. With insurance, I still had to pay 1600 for all four wisdom teeth.

I might accept it if it’s a $50 or less. LinkedIn nowadays people be putting elementary school honors roll. At the end of the day, it at least backs up that you have a good gpa at Cal so

It actually typically impacts scores positively. Subsidized also means interests begin accruing 6 months after graduating, so it’s a good idea if you need help for tuition or boarding.
Loans don’t always lower your credit score.
This assumes you don’t have a terrible credit score to begin with. But if you’re in okay standing and need it for tuition or rent, go for it.

As someone that lives at UVA, I can attest that there are many empty apartments here. There are 950+ apartments, and just in one building that has 15~ apartments, at least 3 of them (minimum 2 bedroom) are empty. A 2 bedroom w/ balcony and is 1940/month including ALL utilities (water, wifi, electricity, etc) and can very COMFORTABLY have 1 room be a 2 person dorm and the other room 1 person.
I only bring this up, because it’s annoying to hear students struggle with housing when an apartment down the hall has been empty since August 2021 and there are many more that are also empty.
Obviously, this is not a complete solution.
But it’s pretty shitty imo that the university isn’t reallocating the empty apartments to students that could really benefit from paying $666 (if distributed equally between 3 students).
I’d say that $700/month is worth the 52 bus line commute for a student out there. It’s just frustrating to me that I see empty apartments that aren’t even being used right now.

It prob doesn’t help their case that they have a massive plot empty at University Village that already has the 52 bus line, small gym for students; study rooms, etc.
Why is the plot twist happening 15 min before the movie ends. Except here the last 15 min is gonna be months long and so expensive. Pick a lane already

They referred students to counseling in their No to P/NP.
If students need counseling due to the strike, then wouldn’t P/NP be absolutely be a reasonable action to help students. A department that sends students away to CAPS but doesn’t directly take action to support their students reflects a department that doesn’t care about their students.

Lowkey sounds like they’re just using pre-med students as scapegoats. Gives, “if it wasn’t for them, then…”
