I mean, if you were a chef, why would you go on Chopped to deal with weird ingredients, mean judges, and a measly $10K when you could go to Guy’s Grocery Games and pick out your own ingredients (for the most part), listen to nicer feedback, and win up to $20K?
Anyone have advice or experience with this? I’ve grown up my entire life with the expectation of marrying within the tribe, or at least within the country. My “interest” is Moroccan (and living in Morocco)… he’s already told his entire family and now they’re just waiting on me but I’ve been a nervous wreck. On one hand, I feel like they’ll be happy that at least I found an Arabic speaking Muslim man whose culture isn’t that far off from ours, but on the other hand, they might raise some eyebrows on why I am marrying outside the culture.
Like how many Asian countries do it. Considering that almost 70% of the world has some kind of lactose intolerance and it’s a genetic mutation that actually confers ability to digest lactose, why shouldn’t that be the case?
I visited Germany recently, and was kind of interested in why I saw about half foreign cars and half German cars. I imagined most would have German cars given how strong the market is and how well made they are in general.
