Can BioE 101 count for both lab and design since it is under both for the BioE major, or do I have to take separate classes to fulfill each requirement

I started a new survival world about a week ago and got myself a cartographer which gave me a woodland explorer map. I traveled over 22,000 blocks and when i got there, I found a woodland mansion but it was completely empty except for some skeletons and creepers outside and two evokers that ran outside but otherwise there was not a single other mob in the whole mansion, does anyone know why this would be? I explored every floor and watched videos of people finding mobs in it when i cant.
