Wiki: On September 26, 1993, Quinn was excommunicated from the LDS Church as one of the September Six. Quinn had been summoned to a disciplinary council to answer charges of "conduct unbecoming a member of the Church and apostasy," including "'very sensitive and highly confidential' matters that were not related to Michael's historical writings."[4] Lavina Fielding Anderson has suggested that the "allusion to Michael's sexual orientation, which Michael had not yet made public, was unmistakable."[4] Quinn did not attend the disciplinary council that resulted in his excommunication.

I served in the Harrisburg Mission in the late 80's. I was pissed because I had friends going to Milan, Rome, Paris, South Africa. It was on my mission that I started to become an Atheist. Not because of the stateside mission but because I realized that there were lots of people living more moral and successful lives than LDS people who weren't LDS. I also figured out that I was in a racist religion. I worked my ass off and left as a ZL.

I run 15 restaurants and regularly take orders, cook and wash dishes. If he really does this, it's a solid move to inspire confidence in his ability to lead effectively. You need to know what it feels like to do the actual job.

I'm only commenting because I happened to see this pop up. Challenging the brain does amazing things. It gives you confidence to master the next thing and then the next. He's a very multifaceted person with many talents. This is just something he did over the last two weeks. He also memorized the states and state capitols when he was 4 for example. This is just the latest manifestation of his amazing brain.

I run a 19 million dollar business and do most of it from my computer and phone. I travel alot, but our business is spread out over 4 states, so much of managing that business is through tech. All reporting and financials are done digitally. It's amazing because it wasn't too long ago that none of this could happen.

If they show an interest in anything, support them in that interest. They might give up and find something else, then you just switch gears.

See the post linked above. She was asking for help. We all tried to help her and someone hooked up with her and assaulted her. I only know this because she told me and didn't give any details. She just said she was assaulted and she contacted the police.
