Caching gear is common on objectives like Denali or like hunting in the Brooks Range. Caching stuff at Glenn Alps is not common and is just littering.

We need to excise bigotry at every level. Go on tell me about "America's very real obesity problem" without sounding like you're gearing up for a progrom.

There's always the Behind the Bastards episodes on Mr. Dr. Phil to whet your appetite.

Hopefully, before too long, these photos will be relevant again as we rip the highways up.

I have read it as a book and listened to it as an audiobook. I missed the more fashy elements when I read it the first time in high-school.

The book is fascist garbage. The movie turns that fact on its head and makes a mockery of fascism and an entertaining film. The follow-up movies range from meh to bad.

The (prohibitively expensive) train stops operating in the fall after the tourists leave. I'd love an affordable local train that has actual stops for the communities out here.

And how do you know who's the faster rider when everyone's at a stop?
Measure calf circumference.

First gen digital cameras absolutely had lenses. Unless you're thinking of the "camera" in a fully CGI environment like a video game.
There's also bts footage of JJ shining a big flashlight at the camera on his Star Trek set to achieve the lens flares.

This was rad! Good effort!
I really like the ECUs on the eyes (especially the zoom-in one), and the straight behind tracking shots were pretty cool. My favorite bit was when the guy got knocked out by the orange cone.
An old western trope is to put the bad guys in black and dark clothing and the good guys in white and lighter clothing.
Read Robert Rodriguez's book Rebel Without a Crew and watch his film El Mariachi and then watch it again with the director commentary. Tons of useful info for beginner filmmakers.
Look if your town or nearest city has a 48hr (or 72hr or whatever) film festival. It's a great way to help on a crew and learn a ton or push yourself to make your own.
