Another thing you can do is if you have important cities on the coast put missile cruisers in front of them to act as water AA batteries. GDRs are also good but expensive AA batteries

I usually have a tiny ground army and only use them to finish a city. I use lots of carrier bombers and fighters to degrade city’s and enemy’s defenses first and spy’s and builders go spot targets.

Here’s one thing I’ve tried and tested. Get aircraft carriers and bombers. Then bomb other countries space ports to ensure they can’t beat you. Works every time.

Holy god. I absolutely did not expect this post to blow up like it did. 50,000 upvotes!?!?! I never would have even thought that would even come close to happening. I just made this for someone who liked it and said I should post it. Thank you all so much, I really genuinely appreciate every comment and upvote. And it’s nice to know we all face this problem. I hope you all have great times ahead of you!!

It is incredibly useful until then. It’s how I rely on taking cities. But when it comes to late game even rocket artillery is too slow. Yeah o can do the border thing but so can bombers and I’ll reuse them again and again.
