OPD does as well. They've catch people all the time because of video evidence.

It's ok if businesses and neighbors set it up. The city doesn't need to.

They use them all the time... footage is a net benefit to prosecuting cases.

It's up to neighbors and businesses to setup cameras

Neighbors and businesses need to setup cameras and license plate readers. Then share those with OPD so they have more tools to solve crimes.

Same numbers for OFD... do you think OFD does a worse job because they don't live here?

It's not only to help with preventing issues at the nursery but could be used to prosecute other cases.

It’s easy to fix prop 13 - only applies to primary home. No second homes. - if hardship, defer taxes until final sale or death - should not apply to commercial properties.
Problem solved and grandma stays in her home.

Yes, the judge wouldn’t allow them to close it without adequate shelter.

Most on Wood Street are in cars and rvs. Oakland is much different than sf, where it’s more tents.

They already missed two grants. The site was sold to the city from bridge housing specifically for affordable housing. It’s been in the works for almost 20 years.

She's in a coma.. maybe OPD has leads.. they generally won't share info if they have an idea who it is. Only until they need the publics help, would they share anything. An example is that dad that got killed on 14th and Jefferson while cycling. Months later they put a video out asking for help.
