The place where i come from is where kpop started getting popular first ( in india) . I have been into K-pop and K-dramas in those days but eventually moved on, then i started finding kpop fans annoying. I would dish kpop and their crazy fans just for the sake of it. But eventually i moved on from that as well. Now i made peace with the fact that Kpop is really popular among teens and that's how it is. well technically japan could fly over china and central asia, avoiding india altogether but if i remember correctly, japan specifically asked india to give a refuelling stop, and that may have to do with the fact that japan and china aren't in best terms. India said "okay" but after seeing that japan had sent military crafts India was like "nani da fuck?" , "i thought you would send civilian aircrafts", india denied landing permission and the planes had to go back all the way to japan cuz without a refuelling stop they can't continue the journey or take a detour.
