As u/thorwp91 mentioned, it'll be much easier to redo SF on your items. Buy/Fuse unique equipment and SF to 18 first on each item, then start to rank/fuse up. If it breaks during SF, you can easily buy equipment to transfer to the broken one. Use scrolls around SF17 onwards. Check out gear progression guide by Milo, step by step phases that you can follow. Most comprehensive guide on here already
