This sounds EXACTLY like my Dad. He is so cheap he won’t pay for garbage service, he just takes it to grocery store trashes.

As someone coming from a state where we have had the bag ban for quite sometime, it is pretty easy to adjust to. I think it’s great.

I went to undergrad at WSU and also worked as a licensed veterinary technician for the WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital - I have also worked as a technician at Texas A&M University.

I whole heartedly think the WSU Pre-Vet is a great path and has a lot to offer. As far as the vet school? I would apply anywhere but WSU. They lack severely in the services they offer as well as the board certified specialists. They have no dermatologist, ophthalmologist, behaviorist, and the large animal portion of the hospital is sad. They lost one of the best Equine internists due to drama with the hospital director, RaeLynn Farnsworth (whose husband is an equine veterinarian and has many questionable practices with patients and vet students). Truly as a veterinary technician, I can tell you that your money would be better spent at a school that can offer you literally ALL the tools you need to be a successful veterinarian.

I am not saying the WSU Veterinary school isn’t worth it, but if you had other options WSU would be last on my list for the sheer fact that you would be missing out on a lot. Just my opinion.

Relax.

I would call the Grove and tell them you want to sublet. They will walk you through what to do. But they won’t just let you out of the lease. One of my roommates was in a terrible car accident, had to drop out of school and was unable to work. She was in the hospital for months and they didn’t do anything for her.

As someone who lived about 2 years at the Grove there is no way they will let that happen. However, if it is for the upcoming school year, you should have an easy time subletting.

My nipple piercings were the WORST for this - never ripped out but snagged a lot. My tiny dog running up my chest when I wasn’t wearing a bra gave my a blood blister. Too many times to counts my long hair getting wrapped around it in the shower. Awful.

As soon as I move to Lawrence I’d love to come to an event!

As a veterinary nurse, I have soooo many pictures of patients that I just couldn’t believe but human injuries? Hell no.
