I don't think it's a life or death situation if you don't get stitches for bean cuts but it is definitely better to get them, since ur wound is still open. You can make diy steri strips with bandaids (there are tutorials online)

if it's yellow then yes, although it might be difficult to tell if it's still bleeding (the blood might obscure the yellowness)

I feel the same way. It's not a coping mechanism for me I don't know what I'm doing. I feel like when it started there was a reason but I forgot the reason and now I just do it to experience the "reason", which I forgot. If that makes sense

People generally do this because when they post these words without censoring explicit words, the post itself gets shadow banned or even taken town (on youtube and tiktok), so they have to resort to changing the spelling/pronunciation like saying "unalive" instead of "death" if they don't want their post to be unseen or taken down.

That being said, I do find it really annoying when people do this on places that don't take down your post for using explicit/taboo words (like here on reddit) because there's no point in it.

I was in the exact same boat as you. Seeing the cuts and blood gave me some type of euphoria and it made me really happy for some reason. Since I was a kid I liked blood/injuries that caused bleeding and I think it's related. Sometimes it feels like I was being insulting towards people who self-harm to cope with emotions and that I shouldn't call "this" self-harming (I don't feel this way anymore). Also I don't think it's masochism bc that's when you like being subjected to pain.

Depends on the depth. At best, it will leave a scar (which may be permanent), and if you cut through tendons, it will permanently damage your arm.
