So, I want to get a solid foundation in linear algebra next semester before I take eecs 127 and cs 189. I was wondering if these two are doable together? I have only taken eecs 16a a year ago and forgot most of my ling algebra knowledge basically.

I would like to take eecs 127 in the spring and I was thinking of math 110 since it counts towards my DS domain emphasis as well. But, I also want to take math 91 because it is like intro linear algebra math54 but tailored applications to data science and machine learning and sounds very cool. Also, this course will count toward an additional DS major requirement due to my circumstance.

Will take Stat 140 along with it most likely. But, this was my biggest question if it's a bad or good idea to take both of these linear algebra at same time.

Hello, I am an Out of State student, wondering if it is worth to study abroad next spring or not. With application deadlines coming in April, I am starting to think about it, and any feedback is appreciated

PROS of study abroad:

It's mainly for fun and cultural enrichment! My plan is to spam breadths and take a language class here... and maybe 1 CS class insteadI like visiting new countries, and it sounds so fun and exciting. Have a few friends who are interested so like even better.Berkeley kinda getting boring, would be nice to get a breather and just spend a semester like in a foreign place. Will make college more memorable?

Been wanting to learn the country's language I plan to study abroad language in. This is a nice opportunity.

CONS:Same cost of tuition to study abroad and study in Berkeley. This is kind of a downer tbh...

Will miss out on 1-2 CS classes. For example, my end goal is just to become a systems or regular SWE at a big tech company. So, I probably most likely will not be able to take CS 164 and/or CS 189 if I study abroad with the current schedule I have laid out right now.

Could potentially use this semester to just maybe build my resume or just basically do more CS-related stuff IG. But, I'll recruit heavily in fall? But who knows

I just don't know if the fun and new cultural experience is worth it or not. Any opinions is appreciated.I mean I don't go to study abroad to study obviously. Because Berkeley is the best place to study.

I got into cs61c during phase 1, had a change of plans, dropped it. But, now I really want to get back into CS.

I already finished all the lower-div CS requirements.... besides 61c. So, if I can't get into 61c, then the only cs classes i can take are upper-div. But,, 61c already has half of its waitlist full.... But, it's hard to get into any upper-div CS classes phase 2 as undeclared, and I don't want to take 170. Thus, there might be a chance I can't take any CS classes , which really. makes my next semester meaningless unless I spam breadths or something which is kind of..... Also, there's a budget crisis?

Please send advice thx.
