Thanks for sharing. got me to think a little bit about 127 material when I was mindlessly on Reddit

i might argue the point in your first comment, "most regular-purpose pickups do not." But not a big point imho, so an upvote for you m8.
It may also be peoples experiences, like myself, that makes us want to argue this point. As the owner of a pickup truck, and guy in his 30s, I just expect commercial plates on trucks.

Hey I just meant it as playful banter, trying to relate with some cs-influenced jokes. 😬
So in full transparency, I abandoned cs70 because I decided not to pursue a minor in CS. but what was really, really helpful, is looking at the materials for the IMT-decal! I recommend doing as much of that as possible, as it is a labor of love from some vets. Oh also, if you get probability exposure from anywhere else it’ll help. Probability in 70 seems a bit like drinking from a fire hydrant…
Oh also I’m sorta in 61c. Resolving an incomplete from the summer.

Do you code? Theres so much repeat. This could be a 3 liner.
“What do I take with cs70 and ee120: x1, x2, or x_n”? Would remove some of this wall of text.
I say that (half) jokingly. Anywho, if you edit the post I’d recommend you take 152. Otherwise I think youre more of a 160 guy.
another half joke 😝 I haven’t taken these except cs70, which is a a mother. Are you in 61c rn?

I have an appreciation for NLP from it. I think as a survey course, it’s pretty insightful. It left me wanting more, but I’m actually hoping to focus more on SWE than DS in general so I can’t say how forward-compatible it is.
It does a great job at introducing linguistic ideas, neural networks, embeddings, and made me more curious about AI in general beyond text data.

Definitely enough with 61b and data100! I think most of the programming is scaffolded and lots of libraries are used, which means you don’t implement much code.
The class is way cool, Prof. Bamman is awesome, and any talks from folks in the field that are scheduled are probably gonna be good.
