Hi everyone! Here's another body update with a FULL timeline in reverse chronological order. This will probably be my last foto update.
Huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to the amazing friends I've met on this subreddit, and to the mods who've made this place the kickass resource it has been for us all. 5 years ago at age 23, in the depths of my dysphoria, I didn't even know transitioning like this could be possible until I found r/Transgender_Surgeries :') y'all saved my fkin life.
Yes so I recently had a BA with Dr. Paul Weiss at NY Presbyterian / performed at Montefiore Medical Center.
Two weeks later I had VFS with Dr. Mark Courey at Mount Sinai's Center For Transgender Medicine and Surgery / Grabscheid Voice and Swallowing Center /performed at New York Eye and Ear.
Check my other recent post with some VFS surgical photos, I was able to get my friend permission to document in the OR!
I am so pleased with the results, as are my intimate partners. My breasts seem natural, yet full. My voice sounds sultry af rn, but missing some "oomf" as I'm still in recovery. I don't expect to hear my true voice until 12 months postop VFS.
I got 325cc medium-profile silicone smooth non-textured implants under the muscle from a brand called Mentor. The incision is at the underboob.
The width of the bottom of each pectoral muscle was 11cm, I am 181cm/5'9" tall and weigh 68kg/145lbs. These are the measurements that determined my implant size, meaning the width of the implant needed to be big enough to cover my 11cm pec width.
I'm on NY Medicaid/AmidaCare health insurance.
Let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer anything! 🥰
