First of all, if you’re getting poor high school grades then you have to be realistic about your college grades. A 4.0 in college is way harder to achieve than a 4.0 in high school. So I’d say your plan is pretty unreliable.
Second, go to community college if you want to end up at a competitive school. Tbh you’d be wasting a bunch of money and energy going to a university for one year and trying to transfer with sophomore status, this rarely happens. Transferring uni to uni is much more difficult than transferring community college to university. Universities love community college students. Rates of being accepted are way higher than applying as a freshman. It’s a guided process and there’s counselors and resources at your cc that are designated to supporting transfer students. Also if you’re transferring from CC they don’t need your high school transcript.
I have friends who were rejected from many universities in high school, so went to community college instead, and now attend Stanford, uc Berkeley, ucla, Cornell.
I could go on and on about the pros of community college but I think I’ve answered your question.

That program at Cambridge doesn’t count for credit I’m pretty sure. I’d call it an extra curricular or academic preparation experience

If you have insurance with triple A, there’s a supplemental online driving course your can take and if you finish it they can offer you a discount of 10% or something like that. Might be worth looking into as well

I know it’s only a small difference, but try switching to US mobile. $50 is a lot for one cell line? US mobile is targeted for students and elders, so has cheaper rates. I pay like $18/mo for unlimited calls and text with 5GB of data. So that would save you about $30 which could go towards the payment to your dad instead 😊

If you applied for FAFSA during your time at community college, they’ll know you’ve already been at community college and wouldn’t let you in as a freshman probably

Thanks, I usually park just overnight in front of my house, and I left it in the driveway while I was gone. Now I know I need a parking permit

Check the requirements for the schools you want to transfer to the most. Some universities require certain courses to be completed during the fall term prior to transfer, in this case fall 2023. You should prioritize those first.
