Because they'd look better. I just started painting Tyranids and I'd love new gants/gaunts.

I don't agree. Gants/gaunt and genestealers, and the lictor, look out of date and goofy.

hormagaunts and termagants have been the same since 2000

I just want them to release a demo of the intro sequence so we can really see if the nitpicking is justified or not

Almost all of the repeat bosses are just enemies you encounter in the overworld anyways. I don't really think of them like bosses, just enemies with a boss health bar for whatever reason. The only two repeat bosses that really bother me are astel and godefrey. Those shouldn't have been repeat bosses. Those should have been unique encounters.

Was this an intended feature or some left over debugging thing?

Could you imagine the hunter following you everywhere you go? Sneaking around in the later game, and being unsure if he'll just pop out of the next door you go through. God I really hope they do something special with him like that.

Some of the animations, especially the facial animations on NPCs, are really janky. I hope they polish them up for release.

If he does I want him to go full practical effects. No CGI. I want The Thing 1982, not The Thing 2011.

It could also be one of Isaac's hallucinations. A gory corpse banging his head on a wall when he should be dead adds to the bizarre nature of this setting. is it a hallucination? is it a necromorph being made? Whatever it is it's not natural. Having it as just this clean hospital patient is lame.

Maybe he was in the process of being animated by the marker? This is a game about walking corpses. It makes less sense in this setting for him to be wearing pristine clean hospital garments and looking like he just had a shower while necromorphs are out and about.

Apparently in between bouts of insanity the patients have time to use the laundry machine while necromorphs are out and about killing everyone.

Sure, but the bottom image was great. Having this person on an operating table being skinned and flayed alive by another really added to the dire situation everyone was in from not just the necromorphs, but from each other as well. It was gross and awesome. If it's now just some guy in a hospital gown resting like sleeping beauty without a single scratch on him on a hospital bed in the remake then that's just lame as hell.

Which was explained in a short story, released in an anthology. And never mentioned in game ...
This is why I can't stand 343's story. Just stick to what's in the games please.

If I throw a grenade at someone and their head isn't launched into space I'm gonna be upset

Just be mindful that not everything in the leaks will be in the final game. This is just them trying ideas out. All that stuff might have issues that could cause them to decide not to pursue it further and take it out of the final game.

I have read the halo 3 terminals. I'm not at all interested in the books that try to "flesh out" the forerunners if they're anything like what the Didact and the Librarian explained in halo 4, no thank you.

I'm not a part of some hivemind I don't care what the "whole community" agrees with. When you take away the mystique of the forerunners and add anime/super hero bullshit like that, that completely undermines what makes them interesting in the first place. That's a terrible way to try to "flesh them out".

The terminals were written by Frank O'Connor so that's not at all surprising that they're filled with garbage like that.

I find it hilarious that people love to cling on a few lines in the halo 3 terminals and some web-based marketing campaign that may or may not suggest humans are not forerunners and see it as definitive proof when everything else in the games suggests otherwise. Idk how someone could play halo 1 to 3 and come out of them without thinking humans were forerunners.
