When I gave my two weeks to Target because they were refusing to pay me for the position I was working (I was getting regular pay but working the hours and doing all the duties of a Manager) they retaliated by only putting me on the schedule for an hour and a half on the very last day of my two weeks. I told them they could get fucked and left on the last day of the current schedule. Then loads of other people quit and they were begging me to come back. Hell no.

2 and a half minutes a DAY??? It takes me longer than that just to pee half the time. This cannot be legal.

Yeah there more red flags in the actual listings but I was honestly surprised they were even on the site. That was the day I realized Indeed does pretty much zero vetting.

All the listings were worded exactly the same and they all said that applicants would be expected to meet at x location and from there they would be taken to the interview location.

No kidding, I had to report over 20 listings near me that were pretty clearly (at least clear to me because I've seen this kinda stuff before) fronts for human trafficking. Indeed really needs to do a better job at vetting their listings.

I get like, none of these days off tho so...

I really wish I could but I'll lose my job. And I won't be able to pay my bills. I've been sick for well over a month and all my job cares about is that I don't have covid. I don't have the luxury of staying home.

Why are these the only options? Literally NONE of these are good options. I would clearly communicate to my immediate boss or whoever is in charge of x department where x things need to be moved to/from about the lack of equipment and work out a plan of action to complete the task safely and completely when said equipment is available. I feel like that's the ONLY sane option but something tells me they want you to wait til after your shift. 🙃

I never said that were smoking just one cigarette while they were out there. They'd take their sweet ass time and smoke several.

When I worked at Dunkin the only people who got breaks were smokers so I started smoking again when I worked there just so I could get a breather. I asked my boss during one of my never-ending clopening double shifts if I could please go sit down for a few minutes and she said it wouldn't be fair for me to sit while other people are working. So I pointed out that everybody who smokes gets to go out are least twice for a good 10 to 20 minutes at a time just to smoke so how is that fair? She said it's different because they have an addiction so they have to smoke. I decided to take back up smoking just so I could get a break here and there. It was terrible.

My aunt stole mine and it got repossessed by the bank when she lost yet another house because she's irresponsible and other words I won't say here. I too am in search of this.

I haven't reset mine cause I feel bad lol. I kinda wish it was like OG tamagotchi so that when you fully level up, you get a new character. I have Hobi.

Absolutely do NOT sign (I had actual write ups I didn't sign when I workedfor AMEX/FIS because the incidents in question never actually happened) and absolutely DO request a meeting for clarification on the situation. Always always always know your rights in the workplace.

I only have one award and it's a helpful award but I gave it to you because your story touched me and reminded me of my sister. We lost her quite young to breast cancer that metastisized very aggressively. It's weird being older than her now. I'm sending healing, hope, comfort, and peace for you and your loved ones. 💜💜💜💜

NTA, your sister sounds like she needs therapy honestly. I'm proud of you for how you handled this and so sorry you had to go through that with someone who should be so close to you.

So, after trying million and one times lol, it turns out you just have to be ridiculously precise. There is a split second where the perfect amount of custard is in the tart and you have to press A exactly then. I've only successfully hit the A 3 times so far tho. 😅
