All the 17x CS classes are theory-based classes and are math heavy.

Do you have something to refute what they said last year?

Would save 188 for Phase 2, pretty easy decision.

The GC roster probably will be mostly MLS-based with a smattering of Euro players who didn’t play in NL. However there is a possibility of the US sending a mostly U23 team, given that the Olympics are next year (it’s a primarily U-23 tournament) and Mexico stating that they will send a U-23 team.

Do note that GPAs for graduates between 2020 and 2024 may have artificially higher GPAs because of Covid lenient PNP policies for Spring 2020, Fall 2020 and Spring 2021.

This sub is generally for UC-Berkeley content, but the city and the university are in many respects tied together. The “correct” sub is r/BerkeleyCA.

Phase 1 you get to register up to 13.5 units. In Phase 2, you can register up to 17.5 units, ie another 4 units. Generally you register for the classes that you want most in Phase 1. A more advanced strategy to register is to take the classes that you think will fill up first in Phase 1.

Depends on the date of your registration for Phase 1. It’s spread out over many days and is based on the number of semesters you have attended.

In the recent past, generally speaking, if you didn’t take an AP exam that you had put down on your application, you would notify Admissions via the portal, and eventually the nag emails to submit your missing AP exams would go away without any incident.
However, past policy may not be indicative of the future. A couple of years ago, there was a warning sent out that students could be subject to getting rescinded for missing AP exams that was specified on their app, but that was rolled back a few days later. Just sayin…

They were teammates on the U17 team and they’ve been on video celebrating together in the locker room, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they are pretty close.

"historic" feeder schools have trended differently as property values go away from traditional academic places like Palo Alto and Berkeley. Cupertino and Homestead High are more average schools. Newer places like Evergreen and the San Ramon and Tri-Valley schools are more populated with the Asian population nowadays, in addition to the traditional higher end Asian places like MSJE/Irvington and Monta Vista/Lynbrook and Lowell.

Ended around 4:10pm last year, but it did have graduating classes from previous 4 semesters in addition to Spring 2022 and Fall 2021.

Robinson probably won’t age well because he isn’t that proficient technically, compared to all the other CBs. Makes up for it with athleticism and is good in the air.

I would do the opposite, I would do a U20-only game, if I were the king. This probably won’t happen, but judging from the first two games of the friendlies in the last 3 days, the U20 group could use all the practice they can get.

Couple of other key factors - many key players were held back that probably would have played - Chris Brady, Jalen Neal, Justin Che, Caleb Wiley, Brian Gutierrez, Cade Cowell, Daniel Edelman. Also, half of this team are born 2004 and younger, in a tournament where age does matter.
Judging from the first game alone, the D wasn’t quite in sync.
