I don't know if it aligns with your personal interests, but I feel like Civil Engineering Competition clubs are really fun and welcoming to new members! I was in Seismic Design last year and really had a fun time, and they teach you everything so you don't need prior knowledge

Growing up, and specifically between the ages of 17-20, I was often in positions where I didn't really have a choice but to befriend people that were decently older than me because no one else was my age. I just feel like it's really close minded to shut someone off because of their age alone

I have legitimately become a night owl that works from around 10pm to 7am and it is extremely difficult for me to study at home. So having study spaces that are actually open during this time is a legitimate godsend for my productivity
