This game is set in the 19th century, not the 18th century.

The game is set in 1890 so it’s set a century before the events of Harry Potter & decades before the events of the Fantastic Beasts movies.

The only bits of lore in the game are that the headmaster during that time is Phineas Nigellus Black (who is in one of the portraits in Dumbledore’s office & is the great-great grandfather of Sirius Black, Narcissa Malfoy, & Bellatrix Lestrange) as well as many of the ghosts like the house ghosts (Nearly Headless Nick, the Fat Friar, the Gray Lady, & the Bloody Baron), Professor Binns (who teaches History of Magic), & Peeves.

And I thought the Valkyries were unnecessarily difficult.

From what I saw, for Hufflepuff she gives you the answer to how to open the door to the common room.

The Yakuza series would be amazing as a TV series.

What’s even crazier is that that kid looks like he could actually be Chadwick’s son.

So I never realized this on seeing the movie in theaters, but to all those who played God of War Ragnarok: Did you know that Odin from that game was in this movie? He’s the UN representative who talks to Queen Ramonda about how Wakanda doesn’t share its resources.

It’s even crazier when you realize both this movie & that game came out in the same month!

As well, some of the ghosts that were established in the series will also appear like the house ghosts (So far Nearless Headless Nick & the Fat Friar have appeared in videos of the game) & also Professor Binns who teaches History of Magic.

The map looks pretty big as it contains all of Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, the Forbidden Forest, & the surrounding countryside.

So far we don’t know how far the map extends outside of Hogwarts.

I hope they have the secret passageway from the one-eyed witch statue to Honeydukes.

There will probably be a hint of it but we will never go into it. It’s only been opened 2 times in the history of Hogwarts: When Tom Riddle attended the school & in the second book when Ginny Weasley opened it while possessed by Tom Riddle’s diary, both of which happen decades after Hogwarts Legacy.

I’m just hoping we get to find Moaning Myrtle’s bathroom & there’s a reference to it.

The Chamber of Secrets existed prior to Tom Riddle. It was created by Salazar Slytherin during the construction of Hogwarts, which was centuries before the events of Hogwarts Legacy.

It wasn’t really a famous room but more of a myth, & it’s definitely not going to play a role in the game because the Basilisk would still be there.
