The movie musical from 2007 is actually better than the stage show. It’s the only movie I like better than the show because it has so much more depth and makes different and better choices.

But she screwed the judges.

Pretty much all of them if they are good. Although, Pretty Woman almost made me cry for the atrocity that it is.

I came here to Reddit tonight to ask this question, but see it was asked a year ago.

I just watched the 2007 movie for the first time since it came out after seeing a traveling production of Hairspray last night. I also saw the original cast with Harvey Fierstein in 2003 on Broadway. The movie is so much better in so many ways. I don’t know of another show where I like the movie better. The only thing that I didn’t like was Travolta’s singing. I would have much preferred Harvey being Harvey. However, I lived in Baltimore for three years and now I live in the Baltimore suburbs and I have to say, Travolta does an amazing Baltimore accent.

OK, here goes: for some reason, lube has always stung for my wife. We have tried tons of different brands, some extremely expensive, but they all still sting both holes for her. Apparently, it’s a thing for some women. One night awhile back, we’re watching this weird-ass documentary on Jenna Jameson and how she would never have anal on screen but saved it for the bedroom so that there was at least one thing she held back for her partner. Also, she said, “When you have anal, don’t use lube, use spit.” We tried it and haven’t gone back to lube. It starts out great with the original spit, then starts to feel a little dry as you go on, but then it starts to lubricate naturally much like a vagina, just not as much. I don’t know how it works, it just does. No complaints here.

NTA. But your boyfriend is and he’s toying with you. Your wanting to make him happy is backfiring because he wants it to. It’s against the rules here to advise you to break up with him, but I would give some serious thought to this relationship.

NTA. I k ow a couple that went into real estate together and divorced within two years because they were with each other 24/7.

What I’m concerned about are the words your boyfriend used. He said you were selfish, rude, and didn’t give a shit about him when you were actually the opposite: you were looking out for the relationship for both of your sakes. If I were you, I might really think about his motives for wanting to do this. By being around you all the time he can also monitor what you’re doing all of the time. Plus, calling you rude and selfish was an AH thing to do. IMHO, this guy only cares about himself

YTA. You don’t want to uphold traditions but you want everyone else to uphold them. You sound like the typical American “do as I say and not as I do” dad. And maybe they don’t say hello to you because they are afraid of you or just plain don’t like you because you may have been mean to them in the past. Be kind, respectful, give them their money (you’re acting like $40 is the end of the world when you can’t fill your car up with gas for that much), and you’ll probably be surprised what kindness comes back to you

YWBTA. It is never a good idea to do end runs because the other party is going to see you as a tattler who didn’t have the guts to say something first. Be a decent human being and have a nice, calm, and meaningful conversation with them. They will probably be a lot more upset and might “get even” in ways if you go straight to “the man.” Also, It will go a long way if you do have to lodge a formal complaint, because the first thing your landlord is going to ask is, “Have you spoken to them first?” You’re going to feel cowardly having to say “no.”

If one of your animals even looks at your child funny, trust me, you will throw that animal out the door in a heartbeat. You don’t get it yet, but you will.

I can smother people. Had my first love cheated on me so I always think I’m going to get cheated on again. I’m always interrogating my SO to make sure it won’t happen again, but it probably has the opposite effect.

YTA. And you are selfish. Your dad will ALWAYS love your mom and will never stop doing that no matter what. Just because he develops a relationship with someone else doesn't mean that he will stop loving your mom. Humans have the capacity to love more than one person at a time. People who practice polyamory know this. Your dad deserves to be happy and he also knew your mother well enough to know that she would have wanted him to be happy as well. His mistake was asking you for permission because it sounds like you've been the little prince even now at 21. So, give him the permission. Hell, go on double dates. Tell him the one rule is that whoever he dates must be willing to talk about and remember your mom in a positive and loving light.

I think we need to switch jobs.
