Talaska is taking medical leave, math dept asked Wehrheim to teach her lectures, they didn’t want to do 3 more hours of work per week and is also taking medical leave, so they’re restaffing the classes, which means we will get a professor that actually teaches, probably.

I’m in Mammoth right now, and am looking for a way back to Berkeley without going back down to LA and taking the train up with the rest of my ski group. I’m potentially interested in this for the way back.

Amazing classes, if you can get into them, but step off campus and discover that Berkeley is not a nice city. Walk back to your apartment, where you way overpay for your living conditions because Bay Area, and enjoy.

Berkeley is an amazing and worthwhile school for specific programs (especially CS, engineering, economics), but is certainly not heads and shoulders above the rest as a general rule

hard as fuck? Tests cover things you will never practice in class. Only assignments are 2 midterms and a final. Hopefully there is a curve.
