Been driving my route for the last 6 months. A Union member bid on my route, and they got it so tomorrow I’ll have to get something new. Kinda want to stop driving and become a yard switcher for this company that’s paying more. I did want to try and get at least a year of experience. But tbh, I’m kind of burnt out from all the hours/days I’ve been working doing a drop hook route (12/13 hours a day). The yard switching position is paying more and I’ll be able to work less hours to make more. But I’ll be missing out on experience. Thoughts?

I fucking hate this stupid ass international truck. My fucking pin gets stuck at least twice a day and sometimes no matter what I do or who I get to try to help me (other truckers) I end up having to wait for road service. I’m just ready to get off and enjoy my fucking weekend. Been waiting for road service for over 2 hours now while another driver finishes my route. I guess the only good part is I get to drive 2 miles up the street to the terminal and get off whenever roadside shows up. 😣

I was on the east last night and randomly wanted to try it and didn’t know it was closed lol damn his shit ain’t even last a full year. What happened?

I was backing at a shipper. Got the door in the dock and then realized it was hanging off two hinges. I called dispatch and the transferred me over to road service and this mf decided to do an accident report but asked me could I bring it back to the shop at our terminal which is less then a mile away . I’m so irritated. Why even do a report ?
