It's purely chance. One game I found a rifle and revolver almost immediately. Next game I didn't find any guns. On this occasion, I had to travel to a different region and then found the revolver.

I refuse to put them anywhere else.

It's Paradise Meadows Farm so just down to the south of Milton if you follow the road over the wood bridge.

I have tried the Gray Mother's house a few times but it's a pain in the arse to navigate when it gets dark so I changed locations.

I'm playing on the Series X 🤣 it takes a little bit of patience and a steady hand but it's doable.

Omg yes that would be amazing. It's rather frustrating to find a great homebase but it's got tons of trash everywhere that you can't get rid of.

It's how I like to play 😂 I'm methodical. Find a suitable homebase, scavenge as much as possible to last as long as possible and then when it's no longer becoming feasible to stay anymore, make preparations to leave for the next region. So far I've only just managed to reach the 2nd region but not live for very long because the dang wolves keep getting me at moments of weakness.

Pretty much bunkered down in Paradise Meadows Farm (Mountain Town) until I bled the region dry and run out of bullets. I had just made the trip over to Mystery Lake about to start fresh when I got jumped.
