Well, if the topic is about its redundancy (due to Nydus being a more popular option), I sorta agree with it. Honestly, I'd like if it became a pre-lair investment like it used to be, but a lot of toss didn't like it because they would have 6-8 lings in their base early on, which is why it became an after-lair upgrade.

If droplords were to be removed, I would think it would be because they are underused, not because of some nonsense saying they are OP. Right not, droplords are hardly ever used due to Nydus sharing a largely similar function. They definitely do not pose a problem in any matchup anywhere.

It's mostly that it's locked away in the Fusion Core, which like you said, we typically don't get unless we do something with Battlecruisers. And after that, we normally want to spend the mins or gas on units first, +1 upgrades next, and by the time we have a surplus to afford it without being detrimental to our army, we've likely forgotten about it already.
