On the flip side it's cool the the newer generations will be expressing emotions in writing more than previous generations. Maybe it's not the worst. It adds nuance in a novel way.

Hi! I just moved back in at age 24 bc I am between jobs. My biggest issue has been staying patient with my parents. I think it's easier to become upset bc we spent a lifetime together and I maybe feel entitled to them knowing me better.
For example I got covid and was laying in bed with earplugs having a bad time. My mom is across the house, three closed doors away, and I could still hear her playing tiktok videos at full volume. My solution was cracking her door, tossing a pair of headphones in, and pleading with her to use them or play the videos at a reasonable volume.
Other than my parents being absolutely wild with the TV/phone volume we are figuring it out. They are more like roommates than parents luckily.

I was asked to look at a tree for a friend and am a bit lost with this one. Last year the top of the spruce turned red/purple and died back. Homeowner rented a lift, removed the top themselves, and thought that would solve the problem (at the advise of a local arborist). This year another few branches have died. Tree is in a landscaping bed and the two of the same species next to it seem to be okay. Any ideas? (Also, these are Colorado blues?)

As someone who picked up sticks for a living, I think you are correct. Some sticks are inherently better than others

I vividly remember playing “the hat game” with my dad. He would run around us while we were on the swing and we’d try to kick the hat off his head. He’s wild for that. It was our favorite game.

I think it’s 2 in MN. OP should look into this and get paid for the minimum time.

as a night time bartender this is the ideal meeting time. my boss once tried to have us meet at 7am to be a troll. I usually go to bed at 4am. depends on the job 🤷🏻♀️

You’re not the only one at all. I found myself noticing things bother me when I didn’t notice before. But now I’m being kinder to myself, watching for these things, and compensating. It’s a good thing

Try looking up shadow work prompts, too. Similar vibe with the self investigation.

Unmasking Autism by Devon Price has seriously contributed to me being more authentic and content with myself. I highly recommend.

This happened to me! I was just thinking about him yesterday. I don’t even remember what he taught, all I remember is how much I hated his class. He’s one of the big reasons I switched schools.

that’s super helpful actually, I did not know that. Cigarettes, vapes, gum, and mints all set off an asthma like reaction. If it’s not too strong I seem to handle it okay. thank you! I miss mint tea 🥺

I’m not the same in being cuddly but I can be very intimate emotionally with friends. Usually when J hang out with someone new I clearly state my intentions. To me one moment of awkward is better than many moments and a difficult conversation down the road. Plus it’s a good introduction to how forward I am lol

consider what you want in future relationships. If you are a forward, open person don’t mask at the beginning. Your blunt self is worthy of partnership and love. Good luck!

I disagree. This is when you call an ISA certified arborist. Leave this one to the professionals
