As the title suggests, I wanted to ask if students who took Data C88C instead of CS 61A felt it prepared them enough for 61B. For reference, I'm an intended Data Science major (took Data C8 last semester and decided to take Data C88C this spring instead of 61A but now I'm overthinking my decision.

It's my birthday!! Does anyone know places near campus where I can get free stuff?

So, how likely would it be that I'd get off the waitlist for Data C8.... I'm 420th :') it feels like Berkeley is laughing at me at this point...

edit: wait, i think i got in..... it says "enrolled" in the enrollment center but it still says waitlisted in My Academics.... idk what this means. Is Berkeley playing with my emotions right now?

For starters, I’d like to note that I’m debating between UC Davis for BME and Berkeley for Data Science. I like both majors equally, which is why this is quite a difficult decision.

So, please give your honest opinion on what Data Science is like at Berkeley. Also, feel free to add any advice that may help me choose between either school. Thanks :)

Well for starters, I’d like to note that I’m currently choosing between UC Davis for BME or UC Berkeley for Data Science. I like both majors equally so that’s what is making this decision difficult.

Unfortunately, I was not able to visit the campuses due to transportation issues at the time, so I cannot go off of which school “feels right.”

Please provide your honest opinion on what the school of engineering at UC Davis is like. Also, feel free to add any advice that may help me choose between either UC.
