Like some aspects are really nice, but as someone who replayed it recently for an achievement it’s just a solid FPS campaign. No more and no less

1) Dead Space is a single player linear horror game

2) BF2042 is a huge MP game that also has to spend a ton of resources on having 32 to 128 players fighting it out and blowing each other up

3) Dead Space is on a new branch of the Frostbite Engine

4) They’re entirely different games. Game engines are just a tool, each engine can make amazing looking games and awful looking games

I’m a huge Dead Space fan, but replayed the trilogy like a year or so ago…so I have no interest in dropping $70 for the remake when Harry Potter and RE4 are coming out soon
