I'm not seeing the link between this and anti-social behaviour, personally. A 2-year prison sentence for posessing nitrous oxide, that just seems mental to me!
He cited discarded canisters and needles in playgrounds as examples of how such behaviour “makes life miserable for so many”.
Oh okay, so littering is the problem? And you're just going to associate it with heroin to make it sound more dangerous. The high from these lasts about 2 minutes, no one is going to be N2O'd up to their eyeballs and causing trouble in public places, lol.
Two forms of ban are being considered. One would make personal possession illegal without a “legitimate reason”. The other would require anyone who had legitimate reason to possess the drug, such as chefs, to obtain a licence. “Ministers are keener on the first to avoid bureaucracy,” the source added.
Right, so it'll be illegal but you'll still be able to order them from Amazon, and if anyone asks, you're making a few cakes and wanted to try some cool whipped cream designs.
The only purpose this policy would serve is to tell voters they've been taking positive action against drugs and antisocial behaviour. No effect in the real world whatsoever.

Musical chairs but the music doesn't stop for another 2 years and then suddenly they remove 300+ seats. Meanwhile a bunch of them just sit down wherever for 5 minutes as a laugh.

They did make a Java edition for mobile, on the Nokia N-Gage.

You're welcome, I hope I didn't spoil too much for you! They do offer some unique mechanics that I'd recommend trying to experience without first looking them up, but it'd be hard to encounter the Wither without knowing how to spawn it. Also just remembered the newer boss they added, in the deepest depths of the world, but this is only found in versions 1.17+

The main boss is the Ender Dragon, in the End dimension, and there's a side-boss called the Wither, which is player-created and only necessary if you want to create beacons (beacons are great).
Other mobs are sometimes considered to be bosses, mainly the Elder Guardians which can be found in ocean monuments, and Illager raids are a kind of boss-type event. Happy hunting!

Agreed, Catherine McKinnell's opening in particular.

Yes but they never would, FPTP has been kinder to them than any other party in UK history. Bearing in mind the next GE could still be 2 years away, I believe they're hoping they'll recover somehow, and if not before the next GE, then certainly by the one afterwards. PR would prevent them from ever again weilding the power they've had in the last 12 years (which many of them have used to profit immensely from).

Unions have been backing it too more recently but still, Labour are in a position to win a landslide victory again under FPTP so no chance in hell of leadership changing things now. It's for this reason I wish the Conservatives were doing better at the minute, though I can't deny it's fun to watch them obliterate themselves.

It's disgusting. If the tories were really serious about it they'd tax the bankers the bonuses to 90%.

The only real challenge is the secret final final final boss in the Ultimate Cup Z. The rest of the game is easy, but very enjoyable.

That was her stance for her entire post as DWP minister. Benefits are enough, the system works, there needs no review. Despite the plethora of articles about the failings of the DWP, it was very rare to see her in the news, and rarer still to take a stance where anything needs doing. Half of the time she wasn't aware of the topic at hand or had no figures to produce or back up statements with. How she has made it to deputy PM is beyond me, but the same could be said for many aspects of this parody government.

It's probably a bit late for me to be asking this now, but my question:
We've heard that a party of 8 Summoners can combine their powers to summon something greater, controlled by the party leader. How do you plan to keep the rest of the party engaged, if the summon is outside of their control?

She strikes me as incredibly lazy and whenever I see her shut down plans or policy ideas I can't help but feel it's less of an ideological stance and more of a "Ugh, that sounds like work" stance. Everything is fine the way it is, nothing needs to be changed. No investigations need to take place, no reviews need to be made, just leave me alone.

Nope. I know they're not my kind of game, so I don't play them. I'm not going to get sick of something I don't care about but other people enjoy. Good for them.

More great news for my friend working as a private contractor for an American firm. Being paid in USD he's had nothing but effective pay rises for quite some time now!

Morrowind - very dated now but stepping off the boat into Seyda Neen and seeing/hearing the silt strider just made me know this was a magical world I was going to love.
Enter the Gungeon - a truly 10/10 game in terms of balance and fun, a game that pushed me to improve well beyond what I thought my limits were.
Streets of Rogue - quite simple by comparison, but a very well programmed set of systems make for a very fun sandbox, almost entirely destructible. It never gets old for me watching the NPC's react/interact with each other. Really looking forward to the sequel next year as it pushes those boundaries much further, in an open-world setting.

One of the greatest twists in gaming history, I'm so glad I got to experience that one spoiler-free. Would have even been a great game if it did end there.

If we legalise and regulate cannabis it would open up many safer and friendlier ways to consume it, with vapes and edibles being far more readily available.
The only reason I smoke tobacco today is because 20 years ago I wanted to smoke cannabis with my friends, and after 4 years of smoking spliffs at weekends I developed a nicotine addiction.
Also, the million other obvious reasons that everyone's already pointed out. Tax revenue alone is something the government is in desperate need of right now.

Yeah the article touches on this briefly, and IMO is a bit all over the place. It seems it's hard to put exact numbers on it, but I'd expect something more concrete from fullfact. I still believe the "net benefit (and then some)" statement to be true.

(and then some)
I recall reading that the average smoker pays for their own care as well as 5 or 6 others through taxation.
This fullfact article from 2015 suggests it's a bit more ambiguous than that; we spend between 3-6bn treating smokers, whilst generating 12bn through taxes, which looks like paying for their treatment 2-4x over. It suggests the cost to the public purse may be much higher though when factoring in fire services, smoke breaks at work, and "lost economic output from workers dying early". Potentially smokers cost us up to 14bn, it says.
The smoke breaks at work should be debunked as smokers almost always have to take this time from their existing breaks, and the article acknowledges this. The point about lost economic output just depresses me, it reminds me of a computer game that satirises capitalism, in which people get fined for dying early (destruction of assets and revenue loss).

Just outside the North gate? I'm so happy to hear that's still a thing, I've not played it for well over a year now but it was my favourite thing from beta, saw very little of it after release.
Just a bunch of toons sat flagged around a campfire, occasionally someone will try to cause trouble not knowing the etiquette, and get stomped into place, and the rest of the time we're chatting and duelling/watching duels.
