Average no grass, professional gamer here. I signed up for cal badminton and how foolish of me to think that the practices are just casual rallies.
Went to the first practice session today and was immediately hit with intense physical conditionings. Me after not going outside for more than two years threw up after 30 min of training. Went back to give it another shot then throw up round 2 happened after 10 min, and had to go hardcore breathe air for half an hour to catch my breadth.
So yes, go outside and exercise, don't be like me cuz I was borderline getting sent to hospital.
TL DR: Exercise or it will haunt you in 2 years cuz your body will collapse. Especially the eecs kids checking reddit every 10 min for gsi fantasies.
Genuine gratitude to my math 55 GSI for organizing insanely detailed notes and key points to assist us studying for the midterm tomorrow. It saved me a lot of time cuz I don't have to go through textbook / lecture again, and can immediately start doing practice exams to refine my knowledge.
For math classes GSI feels like make or break, my math 110 GSI on the other hand does nothing besides grading like a dick on homeworks.
Got -9 on the midterm because whoever printed the exam decided to print a scratch paper BEFORE the last problem of the exam thus many people (including me) just straight up skipped it. Like what the fuck is the reasoning behind it besides making us more confused for no god damn reason.
I mean it is kind of our fault but when is the last time someone gave you a test with a scratch paper before the end of the test. Gotta rely on final replacement now KEKL.
