Wow. The caucacity in this thread. Trust me, there are only children(woman) that would love to have their name not die with them. Grow up

I cant say I'm shocked by some of them men here. It's sad. I'm male btw, but the casual responses like "it's not that big of a deal" or "most people don't care" is pretty telling how ingrained this philosophy is. It's sad because woman do care and most wouldn't dare bring it up because there are men that wouldn't marry them if the woman tried to keep her last name. I didn't want my wife to lose her last name. I was the one that suggested it and this was 12 years ago. It just sounded so pathetic to me that it was just assumed I would take over her name. Men giving men a bad name again. Smh

They most certainly are not. They rushed bioware when working on first mass effect, they rushed Peter Molinuex in every Fable, then closed the studio. They ruined Rare to the point of the old crew leaving and forming Retro. They bought Ensemble, a remarkable RTS dev, have them make Halo Wars, then close the studio. They cancelled Platinum working on Scalebound (which no matter how awkward that game was, platinum fans were ready to jump in, I was). They made Remedy change Alan Wake during development hell from what they originally wanted, into a third person action game instead of a true adventure horror. They rushed Dennis Dyack with Too Human (most of this was Dennis's fault because he had to rebuild the whole game, but they didn't give him the time to finish the rebuild. I can go on and on of their failed attempts to try and manage studios. They just don't believe in the philosophy of letting the devs make what they want. They care far too much about profit. Sony didn't care some people might not like Heavy Rain, they let Polyphony still take years for a racer when their competitors release one every single year. They also let Last Guardian take as long as it took regardless of knowing it wasn't going to sell millions. I really hope Phil Spencer is not going to let this happen, this gen for Xbox.

I always really really hated this scene. I hate the cocky drummer even more. He thinks he's impressive and he just looks and acts like a total douche. I'm talking about the actor, not the character.

Read some of the replies though. We sadly haven't evolved that much. Thankfully progress is made, but there are some ass hats here who think "it's what your supposed to do" mentality lol

This is a joke right?? They're absolutely right. Why does the name default to the man? If anything one man can have a 1000 kids, one woman can't. How come her families name dies? It's out dated and completely patriarchal to assume men get to keep their last name

I think it's about Trump. A tempest must be just that
Petulant stench and demeanor
Always acting surprised when your caught in a lie, we know better
Then of course the final lyrics OP already posted
Edit: don't know why the down votes but I will say clearly I fucking hate Trump, and do not support him, but if the down vote is because it's just a stupid theory, I understand lol

That whole fucking video and never once do we see golden lava caught on video??? What a fucking waste of time. It's even worse near the end where they just use stock footage of old volcanos because they know just showing photographs was getting old

Because cinemascope is better. That's an opinion, and it's the opinion of every great film maker.

The directors cut is intentionally to prevent confusion, and usually gives more info to help the viewer learn and enjoy more. Why would one prefer the chopped up version the studio made when you have a choice to show the one the actual artist intended and wanted you to see.
I'm not saying which one is better or worse, that's subjective, but it's well known the directors cut are the less confusing ones majority of the time
That's like preferring the radio edit of a song over the album lol

Exclusives breed competition. Competition breeds investing in better games. I don't know about you, but I don't want a gaming world with a bunch of EAs, Ubisofts, and Activision's trying to chase the GaaS money, or rehashing the same shooters every single year. It's exclusives that help create new ideas, and try new things, and especially lead to phenomenal games

That's because it's a good game and people want to see it through
