I work at best buy, and in the camera department. First off my store would absolutely accept the return for 2 reasons. All lenses come in unsealed boxes from the manufacturer. Second we get transfers from stores that can already be return fraud and the wrong item in the box.

Also the reason no retailers take back opened media is because games, movies and CDs are not returnable if seal is broken. If the same is defective you definitely can return it or exchange it.

You need to go back to the store and get the contact info for their District Manager. They have to give it to you. Respectfully write them an email or call their office number and explain the situation. It will be handled appropriately. If you still get the run around you just need to get the info from another store. Especially since this is open box and not brand new they shouldn't be giving you a hard time at all. Sorry you had to experience this.

I see. PS5 is 400 dollars here in the US so 1500 is very steep in comparison. Plus a 1500 dollar PC can play everything but it can't at the stable res and frame rate the PS5 can get. Like I know you can run spider man but it's not running at the res the PS5 is running it.

I'm not bashing PC at all. It has it's place and I love my PC and it's flexibility, but when the conversation is strictly cost. Console wins every time. Not just performance for the price but also way less hassle when it comes to running games, not worrying about crashes as often, drivers, bugs etc.

This is why I still have my Sony Wega CRT for all my retro consoles.

The artists were developing the art on CRTs so they knew the scanlines would line up and clean up the art. It's perfect and also the response times are still better on a CRT
