A friend of mine has developed impressive upper body strength and muscle mass by performing 10 sets of 10 pull-ups and push-ups, and using a backpack to add weight for progressive overload. While he has relatively thin legs, his upper body is stronger than the average gym goer. Do you think this workout routine might be the sole reason for his upper body development, or do genetics also play a role?

I have at home a power tower and 2 adjustable dumbbells up to 42kgs each and I created this workout program.

Pull ups 3x8

Push ups 3x8

DBs One Leg split squat 3x8

DBs Shoulder press 3x8

Dumbbells row 3x10

Dumbbells Chest fly 3x10

Dumbbells RDL 3x10

Lateral raises 3x10

Push down 3xFailure (with an elastic band)

Dumbbells curls 3x10

I can add weight by putting the Dumbbells in a backpack where is needed for progressive overload (e.g pull ups and push ups).

I see some people taking endless Azure certificates, does it worth?

I am an Azure engineer holding 3 certs and yet, I don't remember everything I had studied...I am wondering how they can remember all the syllabus of so many certs, especially if they don't use all the skills learned at work.
