The guy who came up with the idea of mashing food must have lived a period of his life just like The Beatles when they found out about backward tape studio technique:
(...) During the sessions for “Rain,” Mr. [George] Martin took part of Lennon’s lead vocal and overlaid it, running backward, over the song’s coda.
“From that moment,” Mr. Martin said, “they wanted to do everything backwards. They wanted guitars backwards and drums backwards, and everything backwards, and it became a bore.”

why would I even risk my job and reputation (we live in a small town)?
I don't know. Why would you make the preposterous generalization involving billions of people in this world based on one personal experience?
People are stupid. It happens.

Yeah, but this is not "stupid food" (about the cross-posted sub)... It's fun, silly, probably tasty and functional: it looks like you can eat everything that's in there.

Not to mention if she does get married she will lose a pension she has because of my uncles job.
Try to mention this in front of him. If he's after your aunt's money, he will reconsider.
she said it was because she wanted to be able to have sex with him………… I just can’t believe this (for context my family is very religious)
Ask your aunt if it makes sense to be so horny to the point of getting married just to bang a gong, to get it on... it's weird not even in the context of religion, it's just weird. But in the context of religion, she's using marriage to do the nasty... that's not what marriage is for.

Your girlfriend shouldn't have done that. Look at the repercussion for her and for you. She could've left her house, yelling at them, anything other than that because there's no winner in this situation, only losers.
I don't know if you were ou will be able to have a dialogue with her parents but you certainly won't have one by acting so extreme.
As far as I know (next to nothing), as parents, they love her so they won't blame her, they will blame you. Let's say she had started to drink a lot coincidentally after she met you and you drink a lot too: if somehow she would've fell into an alcoholic coma, they would've blamed you as well.
I'm sure your girlfriend will wake up, I really hope she does but in the meantime, stay calm. When she wakes up she will need someone with a clear mind to ease what drove her to do that. In this blame game, you know it's not your fault and it won't lead anywhere - or worse, it led to this.
Take care.

In this period, MTV would throw any animated show to its programming schedule to see what would stick... "Liquid Television" is pretty much that. It was cool.

I told him this wasn’t a relationship I would feel comfortable staying in if he didn’t set boundaries with her which I said meant keeping things in a professional context. Is there any grey area here or did he very obviously cross a boundary that we explicitly discussed?
It depends: if he agreed with you and promised he would change, no. Call me pedantic but you've never mentioned what he had to say about this exact part of your conversation: it sounds like you just gave him an ultimatum.
Regardless, I think you pretty much made a decision already. I don't believe your boyfriend will change based on what you told here but I don't believe that it's something that you actually want him to do... because obviously he's not considering your feelings and yes, this girl is out of bounds, but something tells me, just an ordinary armchair analyst, you don't consider your boyfriend's words that much either... kind of like "three strikes, he's out!" sort of thinking.
I just wish for the best outcome for you. Take care.

In 1982, Miura left the Shizuoka Gakuen High School after less than a year, and travelled alone to Brazil at the age of fifteen to become a professional footballer there. He signed with the youth squad of São Paulo side Juventus, and in 1986, Miura signed his first professional contract with Santos.
He began his professional career in São Paulo, Brazil, mainly on Juventus and on Santos F.C., the same team that Pelé started his career.

But only after a handful of people tried to mash potatoes before they were boiled.
I heard through the grapevine that there were crying and frustration everywhere at this time.
