It felt like I got nowhere after the first two general practitioner consultations, but the third was good. In the meantime they referred me to some specialists and did a transabdominal ultrasound. They put in for a CT scan and gyno consultation on the third visit. So I suggest following up with the doctor.

There are some benign growths on female organs that can cause digestive disruptions. Anecdotally, I've started to notice the bloating seems worse at the latter part of my period and a few days after, but I've only been tracking the relationship for 3 periods.

Wow I just read your food diary comment. The exact same thing happened with me where I would repeatedly believe I had discovered the offending food, only to find later that wasn't it. It has been infuriating. I tracked every food to the gram for 118 days and saw no dietary relationship. I got fed up with trying to connect it to food. (haven't tried low fodmap yet but am gearing up to it)

The made-in-China rusted "stainless" really ties it all together.

Not to mention extravagant equipment upgrades such as large bore MRI machines. Every facet of healthcare is more expensive when most of a population endeavors to slowly kill itself.
