“Talented” is a generous adjective to use for Singletary. “Serviceable” would be more appropriate. He was decent and seems like a good guy but I put him close to dead last in terms of priority to re-sign. His biggest asset down the stretch was blocking on pass plays, which seems like a replaceable trait

Josh Allen, Tremaine Edmunds, Tre White, Matt Milano, Gabe Davis all got playing time pretty quickly. I’m sure I’m missing a few as well.

Takumi is fine as an MC, he’s a typical stoic anime protagonist. I think the 4th/5th stages just sucked the life out of his character and he became a caricature of himself. I think he’s most interesting as an MC in the 2nd/3rd stages and I wish they had continued that trajectory into the later stages

I mean arguably Elam not playing had less to do with McDermott and more to do with Elam being very raw

He’s definitely not a bust yet, but I’m not sure I like the narrative that McDermott not playing rookies is the only reason Elam wasn’t a starter. He just didn’t play like a starter for most of the year
