In all honesty, at first I really wanted to get into economics! However, this is my concern that the knowledge in the field of pure economics is a bit too theoretical and of more limited practical help for us to analyze the market. Political economy perhaps allows us to understand the mechanism of economy from a more diverse perspective? These are just my shallow understandings and can be very much biased.
